Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Litran Kossu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juan Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kossu's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Holy Diver - Dio. Sanchez is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Montage. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Daniel Cesar and Paulo Santos.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kossu throws a low kick but it's checked well by Sanchez.
Sanchez shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kossu but Kossu pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Sanchez uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kossu.
Sanchez misses with a kick to the body.
Sanchez explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Kossu takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Kossu throws a poor cross that misses
and Sanchez counters with an outside leg kick.
Kossu lands with a shot to the body.

and Sanchez counters with a nice low kick that buckles Kossu's knee momentarily.
Juan Sanchez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kossu has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Sanchez.

Sanchez feints and as Kossu raises his hands in defense, Sanchez changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Sanchez drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Sanchez jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Kossu is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Sanchez defends well.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

It looks like Juan Sanchez has been cut.
BOOM! Kossu connects with a massive shot to the dome!

The fighters are battling for position here. Sanchez manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Litran Kossu will probably get the nod.

and Sanchez counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Kossu is lucky that one didn't land flush.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Juan Sanchez's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
