PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kauko Partio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mr Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Partio comes to the cage accompanied by Decode - Me, You and Pain. Black has chosen yes as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Partio misses with a body shot.
Black jabs Partio right on the nose. Partio blinks but takes it well.
Black steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Partio. That one must have hurt.
Black closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Partio looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Partio tries a head kick but it misses.
Black throws a looping overhand right but Partio ducks down to avoid it.
Partio pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Partio really is built like a bowling ball. I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill...
Partio on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Black jabbing away but nothing is landing.
A head kick misses from Black.
Sloppy strikes from Partio. Those never looked like landing.
Partio lands a high kick!
Partio needs to keep his hands up - Black had a free shot at his head there.

Black avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Partio uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Black.

Black shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Partio is in a horrible position here. Black smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
A nice elbow there by Black.
Black has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Black working over Partio with some ground and pound. Partio looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Partio moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Partio working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Black.

Black is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Partio has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Black is looking to defend but Partio has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Black! Partio pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Black taps out and this one is all over!
