Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tadaaki Nagata!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nagata tries to clinch up.

Nagata works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Nagata tries to move to mount but Perciwall blocks the move with his legs.

Nagata is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Perciwall has escaped the position, nice work there.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Nagata cracks Perciwall with a big right hand but Perciwall just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Perciwall wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tadaaki Nagata dominated that round.
That's time! Perciwall's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Perciwall avoids the head kick by Nagata.
Perciwall leaves Nagata with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Nagata misses with a body kick.
Nagata is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

and Perciwall counters with a lovely straight right hand!


It looks like Tadaaki Nagata has been cut.
Nagata circles away from the clinch attempt.
Perciwall stuffs the takedown.
Nagata fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Johan Perciwall has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tadaaki Nagata.
Nagata tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Perciwall manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Nagata changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Perciwall tries to avoid it but Nagata manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Perciwall to the ground. Perciwall escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

and Perciwall counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

and Perciwall counters with a right hand to the body.
Nagata is breathing heavily.
A lazy body kick from Nagata
and Perciwall counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Nagata thinking.
Nagata takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Nagata takes a jab right on the kisser.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Perciwall changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Perciwall misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Perciwall tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Perciwall avoids a punch combination nicely.
Nagata tries to score a power double leg takedown but Perciwall sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Nagata somewhat.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Perciwall lands a high kick!
Perciwall shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Nagata eats them both and turns towards Perciwall to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Nagata throws an off balance right hand
and Perciwall connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.


Nagata is rocked!
Perciwall pushes Nagata away with a front kick.
Nagata is still on wobbly legs! Can Perciwall finish him?
Nagata wants to stay close but Perciwall steps back to make room for something. Nagata seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Perciwall and Nagata drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:44 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Johan Perciwall!
