The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nix circles away from the clinch attempt.
Nix is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Sloppy strikes from Ryan. Those never looked like landing.
Ryan is trying hard to land a takedown here. Nix sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Nix swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Ryan takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Ryan closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Ryan lands in his opponent's guard.

Ryan tries to free his leg and advance position but Nix is retaining full guard.
