Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab lands there for Foster.

Horrible takedown by Angle or perhaps it was just good defense by Foster which made him look bad.
Foster looks to land a combination. Angle sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Foster fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Angle.
Foster drops Angle with a beautiful combination! Angle stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Foster is looking for the KO!


Angle is rocked!
Angle misses with a takedown attempt - Foster sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Angle is still on wobbly legs! Can Foster finish him?

Angle stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Foster swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Foster stands and steps away. Angle gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Foster clinches up with Angle and pushes him back against the cage.
Angle drops down looking for an ankle pick but Foster pulls his leg out and moves away.
Angle shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Foster as he avoids it easily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Angle fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Foster sprawls well initially but Angle persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Angle is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Angle can do anything to dispel that myth.

Foster cracks Angle with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Foster will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Angle has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Foster can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Foster decides to stand and escape the position.

Foster has taken the fight to the clinch.
Foster has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Angle avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Angle drops down looking for an ankle pick but Foster pulls his leg out and moves away.
Foster bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Angle's head backwards.

I would just about give that final round to Kurt Angle.
