Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Andson Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luka Petits (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Josh West, Chris Saunders and Jeff Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petits shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Silva as he jumps to the side.
Silva fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Silva connects with a body shot that sends Petits's belly button to the back.
The fighters circle momentarily. Petits darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Petits looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Silva tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Petits smiles and moves away.

Petits throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Silva's waist but Silva gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Petits off to one side.

Silva is trying to get back to his feet. He's worked up on to his knees and now he's on his feet with his head on the canvas, trying to shake Petits off. It looks like it's working - Petits slides off, much to his dismay, and we're back to standing! Silva displaying calm under pressure there.

Luka Petits showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Petits stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Well Petits has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
