Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

22 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Via Dios!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dios has Fierro up against the cage in a clinch.
Dios lands a nice elbow.
It looks like Luis Fierro has been cut.
Dios has Fierro pressed against the cage.
Dios continues to stall. The referee tells him to work or he's going to break them up.

Dios lands a hook that snaps the head of Fierro backwards.
Dios scores with a shot to the side of Fierro's head.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Dios connects with a nice short shot to Fierro's temple.
Fierro knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dios on the ground.
Dios passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Fierro!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Fierro really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Dios unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Fierro wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Dios celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Via Dios!
During a confident post fight interview, Via Dios thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
