Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Piotr Szulc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy Drapes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Piotr Szulc!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Andy Drapes!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Aafke Stam and Patrick Alders.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Szulc throws a shot from downtown. Drapes moves away and avoids it.
Drapes fails with the takedown.
Drapes dives in and grabs Szulc's left leg, looking for a takedown. Szulc pushes down on Drapes's head and hops out.
Drapes shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Szulc counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Drapes!
Piotr Szulc has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andy Drapes.
Szulc lands a big shot there that rocks Drapes but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

It looks like Andy Drapes has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Szulc wants to control the pace but Drapes is squirming around nicely.
Drapes holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Szulc tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Szulc scoring with strikes but Drapes is staying in there.

That has opened up Andy Drapes's cut even more.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Szulc postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Drapes badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Szulc around the waist but Szulc pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Szulc is the winner by TKO! Szulc jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

In his post fight interview, Piotr Szulc started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
