Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Lars Muller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Funk McTavish!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Donald Grub and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McTavish shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
An inside leg kick from McTavish misses.

McTavish gets the takedown into side control.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Muller is trying to get back to half guard.
McTavish wants to lay and pray for a moment but Muller keeps working.
Muller regains half guard.
Muller wants to improve his position but McTavish is controlling well.
McTavish wants to lay and pray for a moment but Muller keeps working.
McTavish is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Muller is just holding on here. McTavish manages to take his back.

McTavish struggling to keep hold of the position.
Muller breaks McTavish's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
McTavish working a defensive guard but Muller manages to pass into side control anyway.

Muller wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by McTavish, who protects the arm well.
Muller misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Muller postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
McTavish is trying to improve his position.
Muller working the ground and pound but McTavish is defending the strikes.

Muller is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, McTavish has escaped the position, nice work there.
McTavish can't do much from the bottom here.
Muller throwing strikes but McTavish manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
McTavish trying to control the action but Muller is working from the bottom.
McTavish is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

McTavish tries for a kimura but Muller is defending well.

McTavish thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Muller can't do much from the bottom here.
Muller tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but McTavish presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
McTavish takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.
McTavish not allowing Muller to control his hands.

Will McTavish go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
McTavish is hanging on to Muller's back as he tries to escape.

McTavish looking to break Muller's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Muller remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise McTavish will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

McTavish is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
