MMA comes to the cage accompanied by Im Shipping Up To Boston. Xtreme MMA has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MMA throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Greywar closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Greywar lands in his opponent's guard.
Greywar wants to control from the top but MMA keeps moving.
MMA is pulling down on Greywar's head. It's preventing any offense from Greywar, at least for the moment.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Greywar will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Greywar tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. MMA just stands there and leans against the cage.
MMA unloads a knee to the mid-section. Greywar lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

MMA lands an elbow that stopped Greywar in his tracks for a moment.

MMA is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
MMA wants to stand and escape but Greywar is having none of it.
MMA is pulling down on Greywar's head to control his posture.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Greywar accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Greywar is looking to clinch.
Greywar will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Greywar on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
MMA throws a series of punches but Greywar avoids them all with ease.
Greywar takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

It looks like Molly Greywar has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

MMA moves into range and clinches up with Greywar.

Greywar pushes MMA back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

MMA pulls guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
MMA is trying to control the position but Greywar postures up.
Greywar throwing strikes but missing.

Greywar stops MMA from standing up.
MMA is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
MMA bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Greywar's guard.

MMA stands up over Greywar, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
MMA has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Greywar manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
MMA tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
MMA tries to lock up and control but Greywar gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
MMA bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Greywar pulls MMA in close to his closed guard and prevents MMA from doing any damage or advancing position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

MMA lands with a big left! Greywar is wobbled badly! MMA comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Greywar to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
