The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Steven Brown and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Asmund loads up on a big right hand but Bailey slips the punch.
A punch combination from Bailey misses.
No luck for Bailey with that takedown attempt.
Bailey has a takedown stuffed.
Asmund takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Bailey wants to clinch up but Asmund keeps it at a distance.
Asmund avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Bailey moves in looking to clinch but Asmund pushes him off.
Asmund closes the distance but Bailey moves to the side
and Bailey counters with a two punch combo.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Asmund closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Bailey moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Bailey tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Bailey pulls Asmund in close to prevent any damage.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Bailey bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Bailey is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Asmund reverses the position - he's now on top in Bailey's guard.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Asmund misses with a takedown attempt
and Bailey decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Asmund's guard.
Bailey wants to pass the guard but Asmund is keeping the position.
Asmund keeping moving, preventing Bailey from controlling successfully.
Bailey stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Asmund swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Bailey takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Bailey might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Asmund kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Bailey controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.
I really don't envy Bailey right now.
Bailey is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Bailey really must keep his cool here. He's controlling one of Asmund's hands and whilst he does that, he's got a chance of escaping the position.
Mark Asmund has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Well Bailey has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
