The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salabim blocks a head kick by Tamad.

The fight stays on the outside here - Salabim looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Salabim cracks Tamad with a right hand to the side of the head.
Tamad throws out a leg kick but Salabim moves out of range and Tamad only half commits.

and Salabim counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Tamad tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Salabim gets caught flat footed, as Tamad shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Tamad stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Salabim swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Tamad must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
