The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Boulks fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Craziex to the ground. Boulks is now in Craziex's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Craziex looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Boulks has picked Craziex up and slammed him! Craziex can't keep hold of the triangle and Boulks manages to pass to side control!
Boulks wants to control but Craziex is keeping him busy.

Craziex escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Boulks gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Craziex working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Boulks doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Boulks manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Boulks got a little sloppy there for a moment and Craziex has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Boulks has managed to get both his arms back between Craziex's legs - danger averted.

Craziex drops back, looking for a kneebar! Boulks looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Boulks looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Boulks!
