Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Happy Gilmore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Baki Hanma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Happy Gilmore has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gilmore throws a jab when Hanma was well out of range.
Gilmore rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Hanma counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Hanma throws a big right hand that misses.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Hanma's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Gilmore is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Gilmore had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hanma defends it easily.

Hanma shoots for a takedown but Gilmore saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Gilmore throws a hook but Hanma avoids it easily.
Gilmore throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hanma stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Happy Gilmore seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hanma takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Hanma throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gilmore's waist but Gilmore gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hanma off to one side.
Gilmore lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Gilmore paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Gilmore throws a hook to the side of Hanma's head but Hanma sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
