Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Murphy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh William (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Murphy's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, 400 Bars. Josh William is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murphy looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

William shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

William is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Murphy is just riding it out for now. William eventually gives up the hold.
William not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Murphy is staying active underneath William, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

William tries to stand and escape but Murphy is controlling the position.

William with the ground and pound but Murphy uses the opportunity to regain guard.
William trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
William trying to control the position from guard on top but Murphy is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

William got a little sloppy there for a moment and Murphy has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, William has managed to get both his arms back between Murphy's legs - danger averted.
William really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Murphy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Murphy lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for William!
William is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

Murphy stands up from mount. Strange move.
William misses with a two punch combination.
William stuffs the takedown attempt from Murphy. Murphy gets slowly back to his feet.
William throws a head kick but Murphy moves out of range.
Murphy jabs William to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Murphy changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. William tries to avoid it but Murphy manages to keep hold of a leg and drag William to the ground. William escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brandon Murphy. That's going to take a lot out of him.

William closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The fighters are battling for position here. Murphy manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
William wants to stand but Murphy is controlling his posture from full guard.
William looks winded!
William stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Murphy swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Murphy pushes William off and scrambles back to his feet.

William closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Murphy quickly recovers to half guard.
Murphy slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

William stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Murphy throws up his legs and catches William in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! William tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Murphy! That came out of nowhere!
