Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alfonso De Souza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ted Scheckler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). De Souza kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Black Capricorn Day - Jamiroquai. Ted Scheckler has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Souza misses with a low kick.
Scheckler jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Scheckler throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Scheckler.

De Souza is trying to control Scheckler's posture but Scheckler avoids it.
De Souza parries the strikes from Scheckler easily there. Scheckler is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable De Souza to escape.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Scheckler seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but De Souza does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Scheckler stalks De Souza and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into De Souza's face. De Souza staggers backwards, shaken.
De Souza fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

De Souza comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
