Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lance Uppercut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ted Knight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Uppercut postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Knight is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Uppercut, into his guard.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Lance Uppercut.

A relieved looking Ted Knight thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
