Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gabriel Gzrel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sean McMorrow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Gzrel might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Warriors Dance. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Sean McMorrow was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 31 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sean McMorrow!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Eddie Farnsworth and Steve Montenegro.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gzrel fails with an attempt to clinch.
Gzrel keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from McMorrow.
Gzrel wants to clinch.
Gzrel keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
McMorrow lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

It looks like Gabriel Gzrel has been cut.
McMorrow throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Gzrel.
McMorrow takes a swing at Gzrel's ribcage but misses.
McMorrow dives in and grabs Gzrel's left leg, looking for a takedown. Gzrel pushes down on McMorrow's head and hops out.
Both fighters circling a little - McMorrow finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
McMorrow just misses with a punch to the body.
McMorrow misses the shot to the body.

McMorrow takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Gzrel shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
McMorrow fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Gabriel Gzrel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sean McMorrow.
Gzrel tries to close the distance and clinch up but McMorrow swats him away and circles back towards the center.
McMorrow connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
McMorrow takes a shot right to the bread basket.

McMorrow scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
McMorrow trying to control the action but Gzrel is working from the bottom.

Gzrel wants to control but McMorrow postures up.
Gzrel managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by McMorrow.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
McMorrow working the ground and pound but Gzrel is defending the strikes.
McMorrow has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Gzrel wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McMorrow scores with punches from side control.
McMorrow tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
McMorrow lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Gzrel down.

McMorrow looking to control but instead Gzrel has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.
McMorrow missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Gzrel has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. McMorrow is working away from the top position though.
McMorrow thows a huge punch but Gzrel dodges it nicely.
Gzrel wants to get back to full guard.
McMorrow throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
McMorrow sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Gzrel defending well though.

McMorrow looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
McMorrow seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Gabriel Gzrel's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
McMorrow moves into full mount! Gzrel won't be happy about that!
Gzrel is bucking up trying to escape but McMorrow cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Jeez, Gabriel Gzrel's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Gabriel Gzrel's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
