Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Cung Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Zambidis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Cung Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mike Zambidis!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paul Aken and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee looks for the body kick but Zambidis saw that one coming.
Zambidis throws a sloppy head kick and Lee moves out of range easily.
Lee misses with a looping right.
Zambidis misses with a double jab.
Zambidis throws a series of punches but Lee moves out of range.
Lee throws a looping overhand right but Zambidis ducks down to avoid it.
Zambidis rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lee moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Zambidis lands a jab-cross combination.
Lee avoids the head kick by Zambidis.
Lee jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Lee misses with a left hand
and Zambidis counters with a one-two to the body.
A punch combination from Zambidis misses.
Cung Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zambidis throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Lee darts in and out, connecting with a jab.


It looks like Mike Zambidis has been cut.
Zambidis pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Lee back to the ropes. Zambidis follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Lee throws a right and a left that Zambidis avoids nicely.
Zambidis swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Lee throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Zambidis.
Lee lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Zambidis scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Lee uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Zambidis has time to react.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Lee lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Zambidis circles away quickly and effectively.

Lee is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Zambidis.

Zambidis will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Lee throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Zambidis slips under a jab.
Lee misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Lee throws a lazy uppercut
and Zambidis counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Zambidis throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Zambidis feints a jab promting Lee to slip. Zambidis then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Lee slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Lee rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Zambidis counters with a one-two to the body.
Lee's jab looks to have found its range, popping Zambidis under the eye.
Lee misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Lee throws a lazy uppercut
and Zambidis counters with a nice uppercut.
Lee lands the left hand.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Lee throws a shot from downtown. Zambidis moves away and avoids it.
Zambidis blocks a head kick by Lee.
Zambidis ducks under a wild hook from Lee.
Lee sizes up Zambidis with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lee throws an overhand right that lands on Zambidis's shoulder, as Zambidis tries to avoid the shot.
Lee swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Lee throws a lazy uppercut
and Zambidis counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Lee throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Zambidis sees it coming and avoids it easily.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Zambidis shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Lee eats them both and turns towards Zambidis to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Lee throws a shot from downtown. Zambidis moves away and avoids it.
Zambidis misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Zambidis tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cung Lee dominated that round.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

and Lee counters with a big head kick but Zambidis shrugs it off.

Lee throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Lee scores with a head kick. Zambidis tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Zambidis pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Lee moves out of range as Zambidis throws a body kick.
Lee lands a head kick. Zambidis smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Zambidis throws a series of strikes that have Lee backpedaling.

Lee lands a head kick that bluckles Zambidis and drops him to the canvas. He's still conscious but it looks like it's going to take him the full 10 seconds to get back his senses! He's up on 9 and seems to be just about OK to continue.... the referee agrees and we're back to the action with Lee no doubt looking to push for a finish!


Zambidis is rocked!


The cut above Mike Zambidis's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Zambidis throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Zambidis is still on wobbly legs! Can Lee finish him?
Lee throws an overhand right that lands on Zambidis's shoulder, as Zambidis tries to avoid the shot.
Zambidis seems to have recovered his senses.
Lee blocks a head kick by Zambidis.
Zambidis is breathing heavily.
A telegraphed right hand from Lee misses the target.
Lee lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lee closes the distance and catches Zambidis with a lead hook that drops him to the canvas! Zambidis is clearly dazed and struggling here! 3,4,5,6,7 and Zambidis is up to his feet but the referee has called it off! Zambidis is still far too wobbly and he's not going to allow the fight to continue! Lee takes it!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:07 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Cung Lee!
A very excited looking Cung Lee made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
