Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Montee Lewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Ruddock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shigeki Sano and Ren Mimura.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruddock defending well as Lewis loads up on a big left hand.
Ruddock paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

It looks like Montee Lewis has been cut.
Lewis defending well as Ruddock loads up on a big left hand.
Lewis scores with a shot to the body.
Lewis lands a lovely overhand right.
Ruddock checks a leg kick.
Lewis lands the left hand.
Lewis checks a low kick from Ruddock.
A looping hook to the body misses from Lewis. Ruddock does a little dance to reset his feet.
Lewis throws a lazy uppercut
and Ruddock makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ruddock avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Lewis could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Ruddock has closed the distance and engaged Lewis in a clinch.

Ruddock pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Ruddock looks to land a body kick but Lewis moved away.
Lewis will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Ruddock.
Lewis misses with an uppercut
and Ruddock cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Ruddock cracks Lewis with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Ruddock has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Lewis to stand back up!

Lewis is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A head kick misses from Ruddock.

Ruddock has taken the fight to the clinch.
Lewis doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Ruddock has Lewis pressed against the cage, preventing Lewis from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Ruddock lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Oh Lewis is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Ruddock.
Lewis seems to have got his legs back now.
Lewis is breathing heavily.

Ruddock lands a vicious elbow to the side of Lewis's head that scrambles his senses and sends him wobbling down to the canvas! Ruddock tries to finish him with strikes but Lewis still seems able to defend himself so Ruddock steps back and lets Lewis get back to his feet - he wants no part of the ground game.
Lewis is aggressively charging in as Ruddock backs up avoiding any damage. Ruddock tosses out a jab and Lewis runs right into it face first! Lewis is out cold! Ruddock dropped down on all fours and is barking in Lewis's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
