The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maci misses with a wild combination.
Drunk tries to clinch up.
Maci has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Maci there as he acknowledges the shot.

It looks like Mario Maci has been cut.

Drunk moves into range and clinches up with Maci.
A nice left hand lands by Drunk.
Drunk lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Drunk lands an uppercut.
Maci is looking to break free of the clinch but Drunk has double underhooks.

Drunk breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
This has been an exciting period of action!

Drunk gets a clinch.
Maci can't break the clinch.
Drunk lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Maci has had enough of the clinch but Drunk keeps him there for the moment.
Drunk lands a hook that snaps the head of Maci backwards.
Maci looks winded!

Drunk breaks from the clinch.
Maci throws a body punch but Drunk moves out of range.
Maci is looking to clinch but Drunk is avoiding it.
A combination from Maci does no damage.
Drunk misses with a jab, cross combination.
Drunk fails in his attempt to clinch.

Drunk explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.

Drunk moves into the clinch successfully.

Drunk's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Drunk darts in and clinches Maci up against the cage.

Maci rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Drunk moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Drunk fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Maci, pushing him back against the cage.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Drunk scores with a shot to the side of Maci's head.
Drunk lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Still in the clinch, Drunk scores with a nice short uppercut.
Drunk lands a hook to the side of the head.

Drunk breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Drunk connects with a beautiful left hand that drops Maci onto his butt! Maci bounces straight back up though - he's OK. After the ref checks him out, we're back to the action.

Maci is rocked!
Maci takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Maci is still on wobbly legs! Can Drunk finish him?

Drunk forces Maci back against the cage and clinches.

Drunk pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Maci seems to have recovered his senses.
Drunk lands a right hook to the body.

Drunk drives through and clinches with Maci against the cage.

Drunk escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Drunk catches Maci napping and cracks him with a perfect head kick! Maci goes down! He's bigtime hurt! He's not going to make it back to his feet - the referee has called it off! This one is all over!
