The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Htaike closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Agasi's guard.
Htaike trying to control but Agasi is working from the bottom.
Agasi is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Htaike is trying to control but can't.
Htaike tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Agasi has advanced to mount. Uh oh.

Htaike is looking to improve his position but Agasi isn't that keen on the idea.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Htaike looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Agasi puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Agasi seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Htaike does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Htaike looks to throw the jab but Agasi is out of range.

Agasi shoots for a double leg takedown but Htaike sprawls well. He's pushed Agasi's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Htaike shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Agasi as he jumps to the side.
Htaike tries to score a power double leg takedown but Agasi sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Htaike somewhat.
Myint Htaike seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Htaike gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Agasi throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Htaike shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Agasi as he jumps to the side.
Armand Agasi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Myint Htaike.
Htaike changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Agasi tries to avoid it but Htaike manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Agasi to the ground. Agasi escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Htaike throws an elbow that misses. Agasi uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Htaike's guard. Nice move by Agasi!

Htaike looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Agasi has picked Htaike up and slammed him! Htaike can't keep hold of the triangle and Agasi manages to pass to side control!

Myint Htaike showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Horrible takedown by Htaike or perhaps it was just good defense by Agasi which made him look bad.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Well Htaike has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
