The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clay shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Pong counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Clay has his takedown stuffed

and Pong moves into the clinch.

Clay jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Pong walks away with a smile on his face. Clay gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

and Pong holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Ping Pong is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Pong lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

It looks like Wanderlei Clay has been cut.

Pong drives through and clinches with Clay against the cage.

Clay is rocked!
Look low, kick high! Pong uses the oldest trick in the book to send Clay tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Pong is absolutely delighted - when Clay wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
