Garcia kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Lil Wayne ft. Eminem - Drop the World. Johnny Garcia has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hobson takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Hobson moves into the clinch successfully.

Hobson gets control of Garcia's arms and successfully pulls guard. Hobson will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Garcia lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Hobson has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Hobson and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Garcia scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Hobson has managed to clinch.

Garcia's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Hobson tries to clinch but Garcia is having none of it.
Garcia uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Hobson.
Garcia lands with a straight right. Hobson didn't see that one coming.
Garcia throws a nice looking combination but Hobson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Oooh a lovely combination from Garcia sends Hobson down but not out. Garcia dives into side control looking to finish.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hobson is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Garcia has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Hobson can't do much from the bottom here.
Hobson tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Garcia wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hobson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Garcia sprawls well. Garcia wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hobson gets slowly back to his feet.

A jab from Garcia finds it's way through Hobson's defenses.
Hobson shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Garcia keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Johnny Garcia has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mitchell Hobson.
Hobson takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Garcia will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Garcia, right into the meat.
Garcia cracks Hobson with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Hobson falls to his knees and Garcia doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
