Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Bateman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sione Finau (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bateman comes to the cage accompanied by Huey Lewis and The News - Hip to be Square. Finau has chosen Ninja Gaiden as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Steve Erwin and Winston Howard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Finau stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Some bone on bone action there as Bateman checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Bateman moves out of range of the body kick.
Patrick Bateman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bateman ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Finau wants to land a leg kick but Bateman is out of range.
Finau lets loose with a powerful body kick. Bateman will feel that in the morning.
Finau is looking to chop away at Bateman's legs.
Finau thows a body shot but no joy.
Finau's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Finau duly obliges.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bateman fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Finau checks it well.
Finau throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Finau finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Finau blocks a low kick nicely.
Bateman tries to land a body kick
and Finau counters with a nice leg kick.
Bateman throws a solid leg kick but Finau takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Bateman.
Bateman with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Bateman throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Bateman throws out a leg kick but Finau moves out of range and Bateman only half commits.
Bateman misses with a low kick.
Finau scores with a decent looking hook.
Bateman stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Finau.

Finau throws a front kick aimed at Bateman's knee but Bateman avoids it well.
Finau cracks Bateman with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Bateman tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Finau pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Bateman is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sione Finau!
