Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Thunder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonny Boy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boy comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Johnny Boy - It's Johnny Boy kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Johnny Thunder has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boy looks to land a body kick but Thunder moved away.

Boy forces Thunder back against the cage and clinches.
Thunder keeps control of Boy as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Boy has had enough of the clinch but Thunder keeps him there for the moment.
Thunder is working for takedown but Boy is calmly controlling the position for now.
Boy misses with a hook from the clinch.

Boy escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Boy tests Thunder's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Boy tries to clinch up but Thunder circles away and keeps his distance.

Thunder darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Boy tries to roll over but Thunder keeps him under control.

Boy has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Thunder is working away from the top position though.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Thunder accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Boy escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Thunder gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Boy is looking for a sweep. Thunder is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Boy moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Boy tries to close the distance and clinch but Thunder swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Horrible takedown by Thunder or perhaps it was just good defense by Boy which made him look bad.
Thunder shoots in looking for a takedown. Boy tries to sprawl out of it but Thunder keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Boy manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Thunder takes a shot right to the bread basket.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Boy fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Thunder looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Boy lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Thunder backs up against the cage.

Thunder feints and as Boy raises his hands in defense, Thunder changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Thunder pushes down on Boy's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Boy wants to improve his position but Thunder is controlling well.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Boy is keen to just control but Thunder is a slippery customer.

Boy seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Thunder is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

Thunder goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Boy has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Thunder but great work by Boy.
Boy cracks Thunder with a big right hand but Thunder just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Boy decides to stand back up. Boy steps back and let's Thunder get back to his feet.
Thunder takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Thunder closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Thunder is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Boy defends it well.
