Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adam Hardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Royler Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva throws a low kick, looking for Hardy's leg but Hardy calmly moves out of range.

Adam Hardy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Hardy. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Hardy swings around for an armbar but Silva sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Hardy's guard.

Silva got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hardy has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Silva has managed to get both his arms back between Hardy's legs - danger averted.

Hardy escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Silva gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Silva really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hardy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Hardy is working to avoid the ground and pound but Silva connects with a decent elbow.

Silva is looking to take a break and control but Hardy is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Well Silva has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
