Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Drederick Tatum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Agamemnon Coon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Coon.
Coon takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Tatum misses with a body kick.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Coon prevents Tatum from improving his position.
Coon wants to free his trapped foot but Tatum is holding on for dear life with his legs.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Coon accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Coon throws a strike but Tatum rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Coon is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Coon is keen to just control but Tatum is a slippery customer.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Poor strikes thrown by Coon there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Coon shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Tatum sprawls well. Tatum wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Coon gets slowly back to his feet.

Tatum moves forwards but Coon connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Coon throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tatum's waist but Tatum gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Coon off to one side.

Tatum is looking to wear down Coon with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Tatum lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
