Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Damian Bane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anavar Punch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Punch pushes Bane up against the cage in a clinch.
Bane wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Bane stalling in the clinch but Punch improves position.
Punch scores with an uppercut up the middle.

Punch breaks the clinch.

Bane moves into the clinch.
Punch on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Punch scores with a nice hook to the head.
Punch is working Bane over against the cage.
Bane takes a shot to the head.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Punch.
Punch leaning against his opponent.
Bane blocking some punches.
Bane is looking to control Punch's arms but Punch gets an underhook and turns him. Now Bane has his back to the cage.

Punch pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Bane rushes Punch and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Bane is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Bane swings wildly with an uppercut but Punch uses good head movement to avoid it.
Bane can't break the clinch.

Punch softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Bane is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Punch is keeping busy.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Punch creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Punch pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Bane misses with a double jab.
Bane bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Bane takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Punch instigates a clinch.
Bane tries to stall but Punch uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Bane seems a little flustered. He's come in with the intention of controlling the clinch but Punch is preventing him from doing so, at least for the moment.
Punch lands with a right to the head.
Bane is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Punch lands an uppercut.
Bane misses with a knee to the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

A short right hand to the side of the head by Punch.
A body shot lands from Punch.

Punch breaks the clinch.

Punch escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Punch makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Punch lands a right hand.
Punch softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Bane throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Punch blocks it with crossed arms.
Punch lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Bane can't break the clinch.
A short uppercut from Punch.
Punch throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Banes head.

Bane is rocked!
Punch lands with a left to the head.
Oh Bane is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Punch lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Bane is breathing heavily.

Punch's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Punch.
Punch creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Bane's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Bane drops to his knees and Punch pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
