Hare avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Richards decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Richards passes the guard and advances to mount!

It looks like Drunken Hare has been cut.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Richards scoring with strikes but Hare is staying in there.
Hare is wriggling around trying to escape.
Hare wants to control but Richards is having none of it.

Richards is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Hare is surviving well by controlling Richards's body position as best he can.
The referee warns Hare that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
