The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Caine lands a slapping body shot.
Reed throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Reed gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Caine.
Reed looks to land a right hand but Caine moved out of range.
Reed has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Reed there as he acknowledges the shot.
Reed throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

and Caine counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Reed thinking.
Reed misses with an uppercut
and Caine makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Reed really felt that one!

Reed is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Caine is keeping busy.

Still in the clinch, Caine scores with a nice short uppercut.

Caine pushes Reed back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

Caine has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Reed is trying to keep an underhook but Caine manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Caine wants to free his trapped foot but Reed is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Reed is not content to let Caine control the position.

Well, if Caine is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Caine is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from Reed as he works his way to full guard.

Caine stays in close to Reed's body and controls the position.
Caine pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Reed is keeping the position for now.

Caine drops back looking for a leg! Reed is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Reed manages to kick Caine off! Caine jumps back into Reed's guard.
Caine stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Reed swivels though and keeps the full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Caine lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Reed at a distance.
Reed lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Caine thows a body shot but no joy.

Reed takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Caine throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Caine connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

Caine blocks the body kick.
Reed moves away from the strike by Caine.

Reed gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Caine counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Caine throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Caine dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Caine lands with an uppercut that bounces Reed off the cage and back into range.
Caine takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Reed throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Caine has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Reed has closed the distance and engaged Caine in a clinch.
Caine's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

It looks like Caiaphas Caine has been cut.
Caine tries to work over Reed's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Caine lands a big right hand that drops Reed! The killer instinct kicks in and Caine finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Caine!
