Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Liam Minard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ossi Jokinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Minard comes to the cage accompanied by Walk. The crowd seem to be enjoying Jokinen's choice of entrance music: Prodigy - Omen. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Alyssa Summers and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jokinen scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Minard doesn't seem bothered though.
Jokinen is looking to slow Minard down with leg kicks.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Minard wants to land a leg kick but Jokinen is out of range.
Jokinen throws a combination. Minard tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Minard manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Jokinen on his heels. He'll look to pass Jokinen's guard now, I'm sure.

Minard stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jokinen swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Jokinen is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Minard has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Jokinen lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Minard!

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Minard lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Jokinen has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Jokinen and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Jokinen paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Minard looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
Minard takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Minard has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Jokinen.

Jokinen drops Minard with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Minard! Jokinen dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
