Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jack Coke!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, BJ Penn!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Skip Squint and Bruno Hogan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penn fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Coke avoids it really well and circles away.
Penn shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Coke defends it nicely.
Coke wants to clinch up but Penn keeps it at a distance.
Coke lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Penn misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Jack Coke has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of BJ Penn.
Coke throws a series of punches but Penn avoids them all with ease.
Penn shoots for a takedown but Coke saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Penn tries to clinch there but Coke circles away.
No luck for Penn with that takedown attempt.
Coke goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.


It looks like BJ Penn has been cut.
Penn looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Coke is fending him off so far but Penn persists. Nope, Coke circles away and we're back to standing.
BJ Penn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Coke scores with a jab. Penn acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
No luck for Penn with that takedown attempt.
Penn throws a combination that misses
and Coke connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Coke lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Coke.
Coke displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Penn.
Penn looks winded!
Penn shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Coke sprawls well. Coke wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Penn gets slowly back to his feet.
Coke tries to clinch up.
Coke misses with a jab, cross combination.
Penn takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Coke lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Coke.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Penn keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Coke shoots for a double leg takedown but Penn sprawls well. He's pushed Coke's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Coke looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Penn is defending well. Coke quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Penn has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Coke celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
