Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gream Shroom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Winter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Gream Shroom!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Andrew Winter!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Roger Salmon and Ryoma Takatsuka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Winter comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Horrible takedown by Winter or perhaps it was just good defense by Shroom which made him look bad.
Shroom is looking to clinch but Winter is avoiding it.

Winter shoots in for a takedown but Shroom shows good takedown defense.
Winter looks for a takedown but Shroom sprawls well.
Gream Shroom has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andrew Winter.
Winter will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Shroom is looking to clinch but Winter is avoiding it.

Andrew Winter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shroom fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Winter on the side of the head.
Shroom stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Shroom wants it to stay on the feet.
Winter shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Shroom sprawls well. Shroom wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Winter gets slowly back to his feet.

Winter closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Shroom's guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Winter is staying active underneath Shroom, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Winter can do anything to dispel that myth.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Shroom is working for a kimura but Winter is defending it quite comfortably.
Shroom slows the pace down in half guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Winter pushes Shroom off and gets back to his feet.
