Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Saguro Takada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oscar Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diaz is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Trick Daddy - Let's Go ft Twista & Lil Jon. Takada has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Oscar Diaz acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Saguro Takada!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 18 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Oscar Diaz!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Roger Salmon and Micheangelo Fripello.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz stuffs the takedown.
Takada is breathing heavily.

Takada gets caught flat footed, as Diaz shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Diaz wants to control from the top but Takada keeps moving.
Diaz forces his way into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Diaz in particular looking to stall.
Diaz working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Diaz is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Takada sees it coming and defends easily.

Diaz is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Takada doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Diaz.

Diaz seems to be looking for submissions.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Diaz working over Takada with some ground and pound. Takada looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Diaz is working for a submission of some sort.
Diaz passes to side control.
Diaz controlling the position.

Diaz is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Takada has escaped the position, nice work there.

Diaz is working to tighten is grip on Takada's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Takada has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Diaz is really squeezing tight and eventually Takada passes out! Diaz breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Oscar Diaz!
