The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rutecki throws a series of punches but Says avoids them all with ease.
Says closes the distance looking to clinch
and Rutecki counters with an inside leg kick.

and Rutecki counters with a three punch combo that has Says backing up. Says nods at Rutecki to acknowledge the strikes.

and Rutecki makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Says using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Rutecki has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Rutecki moves into range and clinches up with Says.
Says using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Rutecki has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Rutecki is trying to trip Says. He has hold of a leg but Says is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Rutecki persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Well Rutecki has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
