Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mike Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maykel Awang Bang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hunt comes into the arena with The Realest Sport blaring out of the sound system. The crowd seem to be enjoying Awang Bang's choice of entrance music: 2pac Changes. Mike Hunt has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Awang Bang looks to land a combination but Hunt avoids it well.
No luck for Hunt with that takedown attempt.
Hunt tries to close the distance and clinch but Awang Bang swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Hunt shoots in for a takedown but Awang Bang shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Awang Bang fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Hunt to the ground. Awang Bang is now in Hunt's guard.

Awang Bang drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Hunt manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Awang Bang has Hunt in his guard.

Awang Bang is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Hunt defends well.

Hunt is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Awang Bang seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
