Bergmanis is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Twiztid - We Don't Die. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bergmanis looks to score with a jab to the body but Halder is just out of range.
Halder pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Bergmanis throws a leg kick but Halder checks it.
Halder connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Bergmanis scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
This has been an exciting period of action!
That kick from Halder tenderised Bergmanis's leg. Bergmanis is trying to keep his angry face on.

Bergmanis ducks straight into an uppercut from Halder and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Bergmanis manages to regain guard straight away.

Bergmanis escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Halder gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Bergmanis wants to hit a switch here but Halder passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Bergmanis there!

Halder unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Bergmanis wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Halder celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
