The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie keeps the fight on the outside.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Slice.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Gracie fails to pull guard.

Slice breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Gracie with a lazy takedown attempt
and Slice counters with a nice uppercut.

It looks like Rousimar Gracie has been cut.
Gracie fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rousimar Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Slice shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gracie as he jumps to the side.
Gracie dives in and grabs Slice's left leg, looking for a takedown. Slice pushes down on Gracie's head and hops out.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Slice looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Slice shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Gracie defends it nicely.

Slice throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Gracie.

Gracie moves into the clinch.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.

Slice jumps guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Gracie tries to free his leg and advance position but Slice is retaining full guard.
Slice is looking to stand up but Gracie isn't so interested in that idea.

Gracie gets to his feet. Slice looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Slice throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gracie's waist but Gracie gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Slice off to one side.

Gracie gets a takedown into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gracie has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Gracie has isolated one of Slice's arms. Slice looking to fight him off but Gracie twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
