PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between teuvo toblerone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jean Jacques Machado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Machado has chosen Sound Of Madness - Shinedown as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
toblerone stuffs the takedown.
Machado shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with toblerone but toblerone pushes him off and we're back to square one.

toblerone feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Machado sprawling to the canvas! Machado rolls over backwards and springs off the ropes and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can toblerone finish him?!

It looks like Jean Jacques Machado has been cut.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Machado postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! toblerone is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Machado, into his guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

toblerone pushes Machado off and scrambles back to his feet.
Machado will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

toblerone stalks Machado and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Machado's face. Machado staggers backwards, shaken.
Jab, jab by toblerone - just one landing.
toblerone lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
toblerone connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Machado tumbling to the canvas! toblerone pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Machado was done - good stoppage!
