Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bernie McLeod (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julius Schoonover (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McLeod kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Flower of Scotland. Schoonover is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Daylight - Matt and Kim. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schoonover will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
McLeod will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Schoonover feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Schoonover is pushing down on McLeod's leg trying to pass to half guard. McLeod is fighting to maintain full guard but Schoonover has managed to sneak the leg through.

Schoonover is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. McLeod doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Schoonover.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Bernie McLeod.
I think McLeod has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
