Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Josh West and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
El Chakzo tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
El Chakzo drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
El Chakzo is standing up over Guy. Guy looks to escape but El Chakzo dives into side control.
El Chakzo looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Guy is avoiding damage well.
Guy wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
The strikes coming from El Chakzo are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
The ground and pound from El Chakzo seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

It looks like El Chakzo might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
El Chakzo is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Guy will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

El Chakzo is trying to pull guard but Guy turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
El Chakzo has Guy pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Guy manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Nice Guy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Juan El Chakzo.
El Chakzo has picked Guy up - he's going for a ride! El Chakzo dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Guy kicks El Chakzo off and gets back to his feet.
El Chakzo fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Guy sprawls well initially but El Chakzo persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Guy pushes El Chakzo off looking to stand but El Chakzo dives back in and keeps control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

El Chakzo is taking a breather. Guy says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
El Chakzo thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
El Chakzo is keen to just control but Guy is a slippery customer.

Guy's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Guy trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Guy wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by El Chakzo.

El Chakzo has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Guy has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Juan El Chakzo is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Guy will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Well El Chakzo has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
