The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Illya Tyunina and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Watts fails in his attempt to clinch.
Watts gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
McNight controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
McNight lands a couple of elbows.
McNight slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
McNight cracks Watts with a big right hand but Watts just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

A lull in the action here as McNight stalls from top position.

Watts takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

McNight controls the position from side control.
McNight's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
McNight has knee on belly and moves into mount.

McNight pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
AJ McNight dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
McNight changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Watts tries to avoid it but McNight manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Watts to the ground. Watts escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
McNight fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
McNight shoots in but no luck this time.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for AJ McNight. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Watts defends well against a solid takedown attempt from McNight.
McNight shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. McNight showed some decent athleticism there.

Nice strikes from McNight there.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with McNight in particular looking to stall.
McNight has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

McNight seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Watts is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
