Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adam Macku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maximus Meridius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Meridius comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Now We Are Free kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Maximus Meridius has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Meridius throws a leg kick which misses Macku's front leg but catches the back leg as Macku tries to avoid it.

Meridius changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Macku tries to avoid it but Meridius manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Macku to the ground. Macku escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Macku has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Meridius.
Meridius looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Macku.
Meridius misses with a straight left.
Meridius takes a kick to the side of the head.
It looks like Maximus Meridius has been cut.
Meridius moves forwards but Macku connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Macku lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Meridius has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Meridius and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Maximus Meridius seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Macku is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Meridius has Macku pressed against the cage, preventing Macku from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Adam Macku showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Meridius has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
