The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Jackson is looking for a triangle but Ruoska pushes his legs off easily.

Ruoska is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Jackson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Ruoska is working away from the top position though.

Jackson pushes Ruoska off looking to stand but Ruoska dives back in and keeps control.

Ruoska is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Ruoska postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Jackson looks a forlorn figure.

Ruoska lands a nice shot to the head.
Ruoska loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Jackson scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Ruoska land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Ruoska stands and salutes the crowd.
