Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marek Kolec (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Sypher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kolec comes into the arena with Piona blaring out of the sound system. Sypher has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kolec is defended easily by Sypher.
Sypher fails with an attempt to clinch.

Sypher throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Kolec tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Sypher is in Kolec's guard.

Kolec working for a triangle but Sypher defends it easily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Sypher stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kolec swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Kolec is working an open guard so Sypher takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Sypher looks winded!

Kolec closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Kolec tries for a kimura but Sypher is defending well.
