Kreisi has chosen Ella ja Aleksi - Kakkaa lumella as his entrance music. Billy D has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Billy D!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Hois Kreisi!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Marco Blurström and Matti Vanhoillinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Kreisi misses.
Kreisi ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Kreisi's jab looks to have found its range, popping D under the eye.


It looks like Billy D has been cut.

Kreisi throws a big shot that misses.
Kreisi displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as D throws out the jab.
Kreisi looks to score with a jab to the body but D is just out of range.
Kreisi tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Kreisi lands with a nice body punch.

Kreisi tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and D is able to avoid easily.

Kreisi shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. D manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Kreisi works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Kreisi tries to pass to full mount but D defends it.
Kreisi wants to take a breather but D is having none of it.

Kreisi is looking for a kimura but D is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Kreisi to get the leverage.
Kreisi is looking to advance position but D won't allow it.
Kreisi winds up and cracks D with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Kreisi lands a nice short elbow.
Kreisi throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
D wants to control but Kreisi is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Kreisi works his way into side control.
D wants to get back to his feet.

Kreisi working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

D tries to escape but Kreisi is in control.
Kreisi tries to move into full mount but can't pass D's legs.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Kreisi advances nicely into full mount.
Kreisi has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
D working to try and regain half guard.
Kreisi lands a big elbow.
D really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
D is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Kreisi with shots to the head and body - D looks very uncomfortable down there.
D is squirming around, avoiding Kreisi's attempts to control the action.

Kreisi working for a submission but D is keeping him at bay.
Kreisi lands a big shot there that rocks D but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kreisi pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Kreisi lands a nice shot to the head.
Kreisi in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.


D is rocked!

Kreisi lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Oh D is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kreisi postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt D bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Kreisi and the fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hois Kreisi!
An intense looking Hois Kreisi took to the microphone post fight and gave a little speech: 'Ispa Murska! How about giving me the winner of Bruce Becker vs Nick Jay Hansen? '.
