The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nykanen tries for a takedown but Guillerdo sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Nykanen ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Guillerdo moves away.
Nykanen misses with a wild body shot.
Nykanen fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Guillerdo is looking to clinch.

Nykanen is trying to push Guillerdo away but Guillerdo has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Nykanen has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Guillerdo after a bit of a struggle.
Guillerdo lands with a left to the head.
Nykanen drops down looking for an ankle pick but Guillerdo pulls his leg out and moves away.
Nykanen uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Guillerdo.
Nykanen throws a poor cross that misses
and Guillerdo counters with a head kick. That will keep Nykanen thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

and Guillerdo comes in over the top with a devastating right hand! Nykanen stumbles back against the cage, looking to regain his senses but Guillerdo is on him like rabid pit bull! Nykanen slumps to the ground under a storm of punches and this fight is over!
