Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Power Ranger Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shizuka Uesugi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Black comes to the ring accompanied by My Way- Limp Bizkit. Power Ranger Black has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Uesugi misses with an uppercut
and Uesugi takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Uesugi fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Black checks it well.
Uesugi throws a sloppy head kick and Black moves out of range easily.
Black shoots in and drives through. Uesugi sprawls well.

Black shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Black with a flurry of punches that miss.
Black postures up in Uesugi's guard and throws a big left but Uesugi blocks it.
Black throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Uesugi works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Black is fighting to break Uesugi's control of his arms but Uesugi is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Shizuka Uesugi was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Uesugi throws a sloppy head kick and Black moves out of range easily.
Uesugi scoring well with a low kick there.
Uesugi throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Uesugi throws the kick towards the body but Black avoids it.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Uesugi lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Black has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Black and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Uesugi throws a body punch but Black moves out of range.

Black needs to keep his hands up - Uesugi had a free shot at his head there.
Black misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Black shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Uesugi as he avoids it easily.
Uesugi misses with an attempted mid kick.

Uesugi looks to land a left hand but Black moved out of range nicely.

and Uesugi counters with a good low kick that Black was not able to check.

Uesugi buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Uesugi does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Uesugi throws a leg kick which misses Black's front leg but catches the back leg as Black tries to avoid it.

Black manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Uesugi on his heels. He'll look to pass Uesugi's guard now, I'm sure.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Black might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Black fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Uesugi avoids it really well and circles away.

Black takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
A looping hook to the body misses from Uesugi. Black does a little dance to reset his feet.
Uesugi scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Black takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Uesugi swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Uesugi swings for the body but Black moves out of range.
Black is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Black closes the distance and clinches up with Uesugi, looking for a takedown. Black pushes Uesugi against the ropes but Uesugi circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Uesugi lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Uesugi with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
That kick from Uesugi tenderised Black's leg. Black is trying to keep his angry face on.

Uesugi lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Uesugi has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Uesugi turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Black crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Uesugi - the referee stops the clock and Black gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Uesugi. Black manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
