The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez throws a hook but Oliveira blocks it.

and Oliveira counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Oliveira.

Hudson Oliveira has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Sanchez is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Oliveira.

and Oliveira counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Sanchez's guard now.
Sanchez wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Oliveira wants to control but Sanchez is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Sanchez looks to get to his feet but Oliveira has hold of an arm. He's persisting with trying to stand up and Oliveira certainly isn't letting go of the arm! Oliveira seems to be the aggressor now - he's rolled into the armbar and extended it - Sanchez is clearly in a lot of pain. He's tapping! He's tapping! What an ending! One minute you're in a dominant position, the next you've got a notch in the loss column - that's why we all love this sport!
